SERVICE

Our congregation is committed to upholding a multicultural and diverse celebration of God and humanity. We are not all the same, and the gifts that we offer reflect our individuality.  We honor these individual contributions that together help us build a faith and service oriented community.

FOOD PANTRY

Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Christ by providing food and grocery products to individuals and families in need in our community. We collect, store, and distribute these goods on a weekly basis. Serving those in need with kindness, confidentiality, respect, and a smile.

Brenda Brockett provides a tangible presence of God’s love to the community through the Food Pantry ministry. Her exemplary leadership as chair of this ministry has salvaged and expanded our food pantry from one room to two rooms; it has secured the congregation grants, and it has fostered a dedicated committee of volunteers that serve approximately 426 households. In addition to demonstrating God’s provision through the food pantry, Brenda coordinates annual distribution of Thanksgiving and Easter food baskets for 73 families that need support to alleviate their continued food insecurity; especially during the holiday seasons. Brenda’s Christian walk reminds us that ministry is about others.; Brenda is an Elder on greater Consistory and currently leads the Sunday School ministry and sings on the Music Ministry Team.
